Baseball is almost over. The NFL just started. But what we really care about is the NBA! Our Miami Heat begin the 2012-2013 season on October 30th 2012! They face the Celtics (Ray Allen's former team), and that will be a great opener for us! I've heard rumors of Chris Bosh gaining about 6 pounds and trying to workout hard for the center position. LeBron James was involved in the 2012 Olympics and won gold; he's keeping active. Dwyane Wade underwent knee surgery and should be ready to go. What I am most excited about is Ray Allen's move to the Miami Heat. He is a threat from the arc and I for-see our offense being more efficient. We struggled from the three-point-line somewhat last year due to Mike Miller's pain and Shane Battier was on and off from game to game. It wasn't an excellent three point shooting performance, but that will improve this year.
Things to question:
1. Will LeBron James be as hungry for ring # 2 this season as he was for last year's victory?
2. Will Dwyane Wade stay healthy?
3. How effective will Chris Bosh be at center?
All in all, I am very excited about this upcoming season. I am sure the rest of #HeatNation is excited as well. We are all eager for basketball!
