Brandon Jennings: "We will beat the Heat in six." I'm sure he was talking about six dreams or six fairytale stories, or six something... but it sure wasn't six NBA Playoff games. How many games have the Heat won in the past few months? Well... out of the last 41 games, they have won 39. Talk about efficiency, drive, and motivation to get that championship.
Its not about stats for LeBron James, he wants to win games. After game 1, he was interviewed briefly after the game and the reporter said "LeBron, you were just shy of a triple double." LeBron said, "I didn't even know my stats, I just want to win games."
Unlike other players in the NBA, LeBron James is more of a team player. A contributor and in basketball, a team sport, it's not about one player... its about the team as a whole. We have Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant, and James Harden trying to do everything themselves. That's not what basketball is about. Although they have great skill, they show immaturity in the game at times when they have 1,2,3 assists throughout the whole game.
Well, to get back on track, the Miami Heat have won the first two games vs. the Bucks. They play game 3 tomorrow at Milwaukee. I'm sure the Bucks will be hyped, but our defense can shut them down and we can defeat them at their home as well. I have no doubt.
Before I let you go. I want to give Chris Andersen some respect. He has played his heart out the past couple of games. Both on defense and offense, he has made great plays and has brought energy to the Heat .Specially late in the game, towards the 3rd and 4th quarters. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am that Pat Riley went out and got the Birdman. He has been a great addition to our team and we should be happy that he's part of it.
Miami Heat lead series 2-0.
Let's Go Heat, show some pride these playoffs. Get Miami Heat merchandise, show love.
