2013-2014 Miami Heat Roster

As the off-season is slowly coming to an end, the Miami Heat are trying to fill their roster gap with the waving of Mike Miller. Notable signings in the off-season have been Greg Oden (7'0 Center) and Michael Beasley (6'10 Forward). Greg Oden played his last NBA game in 2009 and has been trying to come back from injury. While Michael Beasley has had some trouble off the court, and as we all know, he was picked in the 2008 draft by the Miami Heat (round one, second pick).

With his return to the Miami Heat (even he returned before Derrick Rose did), Beasley should be looking to up his game. I'm sure that Dwyane Wade and LeBron James won't put up with his immaturity on or off the court. We all know that Pat Riley is a serious businessman, and he won't put up with any problems by Beasley either. If he performs well, we might be looking at another title this year.

I have discussed on Twitter the depth of the Miami Heat bench now with the new additions. Off the bench we have Norris Cole, Ray Allen, Chris Andersen, Michael Beasley, Greg Oden, Rashard Lewis, James Jones, and Joel Anthony. That bench has a lot of talent and potential in itself. Norris Cole has shown his potential on the court both in the regular season and in the post season. Chris Andersen's energy gets everyone hyped. Ray Allen's three-point shot saved our season. This bench is getting better and better. I also want to mention that the Heat have signed Justin Hamilton (7'0 Center) and Eric Griffin (Small Forward, 6'8) to a camp tryout. They are both young and I'm curious as to how they perform.

Well, as I said, the season is approaching and the Miami Heat are making moves once again to maintain their championship status. Let's see what the rest of the off-season brings. Find me on Twitter: @HeatNation
