Here is a quick way to represent the Miami Heat wherever you go. There are a few guidelines you must follow. Do these things without shame and never, ever, fall prey to the haters.
1. If you're in a public place (mall, park, downtown) be sure to wear any apparel with the Miami Heat logo or player's name on it.
2. If you're at work, start conversation with your co-workers the day after a game. Be sure to tell them about the best plays from the game, tell them how no other team can compare, and be sure to make it entertaining. If the person doesn't like basketball, invite him or her to watch a game with you.
3. During family reunions or anytime you run into relatives you haven't seen in a while, bring up the Miami Heat. Tell them that basketball is cool and it's awesome to watch with friends. Tell them that the Miami Heat are the 2011-2012 NBA Champions!
4. If you are traveling out of town, specially to a different state (another team's turf); be sure to #1 be wearing Miami Heat apparel. #2, be sure to mention the Miami Heat in short conversations you may have with strangers. Oh, and never, ever back down from a fan that represents another team. If they're hating, be sure to tell them "Who's the 2011-2012 champions though?"
5. Finally, if you see other people wearing Heat apparel, a hat, clothing, jersey, or backpack... make sure you make it known that you represent the same team! You may have met that person for the first time, but you always have something to talk about: the Miami Heat!
