LeBron James Wins Heat vs Pacers Game One

2.2 seconds left in Overtime and LeBron James makes a clutch layup. HEAT WIN!

After Paul George ties it in the 4th quarter with a clutch, crazy, unbelievable three-point shot, the game goes into overtime. The Heat were defending home court and were struggling in overtime to win the game. It looked like the game was going to a second overtime period, but once again Paul George takes a crazy three-point shot and is fouled by Dwyane Wade. George manages to make all three free-throws in a clutch performance, and the Heat found themselves shocked. Now they were down by one point.

So what happens now? What can the Miami Heat do to defeat the Indiana Pacers in game one of the Eastern Conference Finals? Well, I for sure thought that they would inbound the ball and give it to Ray Allen or someone else to shoot a three-pointer. There isn't much a team can do with 2.2 seconds on the clock.

Well, the ball is inbounded, LeBron James takes it to the rim and scores a clutch layup as time expires! Heat win by one point!

It wasn't a classic Miami Heat performance and definitely not a pretty one, but they got the job done. It doesn't matter how, but they won, and that is what matters in the end. Game two will be played in Miami, Friday, May 24th at 8:30pm once again. The Miami Heat will have to come out strong and ready to win. I hope they learned from the mistakes they made in game one, the turnovers were the main reason they struggled so much. They have to make sure to cut the turnovers down and play some good Miami Heat basketball.

Side note, LeBron James, the MVP of the league, got his 9th playoffs triple double last night scoring 30 points, getting 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

GO HEAT!
